Es ist ideal zum Patchen oder zur Innenverdrahtung geeignet. Wo keine extremen Umwelteinflüsse einwirken, kann man das Kabel auch zur Festverlegung über weite Strecken einsetzen. Der Wellenwiderstand von 110 Ω garantiert eine verlustfreie Übertragung von digitalen Signalen. Auch das SC-Semicolon 4 AES/EBU ist durch die Verwendung eines dichten Cu-Spiralwendelschirms und der darunterliegenden AL/PT-Folie bzw. AL-Vlies voll geschirmt.
